Walk a County Mile Community Walkability Audit
Montgomery County Parks & Recreation, in partnership with AARP, invites residents to participate in the Walk a County Mile Community Walkability Audit on Friday, October 23, at the Montgomery County Activity Center in Grady.
The Walk a County Mile initiative encourages residents to examine their community through the eyes of pedestrians by identifying strengths, challenges, and opportunities for creating safer and more accessible walking environments. During the guided audit, participants will evaluate sidewalks, crossings, accessibility, signage, traffic conditions, and other factors that influence walkability.
Community input gathered during the event will help inform future planning efforts and support healthier, more connected communities across Montgomery County.
