MONTGOMERY COUNTY TO HOLD RIBBON CUTTING
AT WAUGH-MT. MEIGS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
MONTGOMERY, AL (09/23/2026) – The Montgomery County Commission announces a ribbon cutting celebrating its expanded partnership with Haynes Ambulance at the Waugh–Mt. Meigs Volunteer Fire Department.
The event will take place on Friday, September 25, at 10:00 a.m., formally recognizing Montgomery County’s partnership with Haynes Ambulance and the Volunteer Fire Departments. This milestone marks a major step forward in strengthening emergency response services for residents.
Montgomery County is proud to support this new partnership. Additionally, they’d like to recognize the Waugh–Mt. Meigs facility expansion. The ribbon cutting represents a commitment to faster response times, stronger coordination, and improved safety for every resident in the County.
Another Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Department district will soon join this collaboration with Haynes Ambulance. Additional details will be shared in the near future.
